Update to Web site, Pom Pom's show

I just simplified the website even more. I'm liking the look of it! Having just taken down my show at Pom Pom's a couple of days ago, I am reflecting on my old images and looking at my recent images from my trip to Amelia Island. I have added some of these new images to the travel and abstract pages. Now I am looking ahead...thinking of what images I may want to create, and also for new venues in which to show my work. I've been really thrilled with the support and feedback from the shows this year at Bikes Beans and Bordeaux and Pom Pom's. It's also been an opportunity for me, through the preparation process, to select and unify my work. I am finding emerging themes, such as multiple occurences of geometric shapes within nature, man-made objects, and even my painting. Let me digress by saying the geometry was always my favorite math subject in school..it made complete sense to me..I could SEE it. Not like all those algebra equations...they had no substance. Geometry has a beautiful logic to it. And so this re-occurant theme keeps showing up in my work, time and time again, over many years and many subjects (and even mediums).
Also, I've added links to my face book and twitter pages. I recently discovered the joy that is twitter and I am really enjoying all it has to offer.
It looks as though my blog entries tend to surface every four months. Perhaps this will increase in the future. I do tend to hope so. In the meantime, hope you enjoy the updated site!
