I am really excited about the show at Bikes Beans and Bordeaux in March and April!! I met with the owner, Jen, last week, and she is very excited about the show. We talked about the type of work I will be showing...some will be previous work, some will be new (including a theme photograph of a bike in honor of the restaurant), but the overall look will be bright, spring colors and subjects. The cafe is really cozy, with burgundy walls and dark brown sofas, it has an overall modern feel, and you feel like you can hang out there for hours. There's a large plasma television, which usually shows a Tour de France or other cycling event...and the food, wow!!! The sandwiches are out of this world. I had a brownie for dessert one night...they make it all fresh, with a dollop of fresh whipped cream on the top!! They also have an excellent selection of wines and beers.
The opening night on March 7th will be excellent, with live music and a fun, evening atmosphere.
I can't wait!!!
